Yuyu Golden Beach - Koh Chang

i got a savoury breakfast with mushrooms. location: the hotel was near to thailand over the last 3 year, and a clean beach with the sea rolling in.

My room with a/c, fan, as example was budget, had good night's sleep. Everyone was very very helpful as well as owner. The location was lovely - a few steps away from everywhere I wanted to go.

Shame the bathroom was wet.

Very nice peaceful vibe at Yuyu with the sound of birds and waves always in the background. The beach front bungalows were worth every penny. I appreciated the easy access to the beautiful Klong Kloi beach. The room was spacious and really clean, and the staff were attentive and cute throughout my stay. Great stay but consider dining off-site for better value.

Uncrowded beach paradise

The private area was perfect for our dog and the island offered plenty of activities. The beach's peaceful vibe, with the sound of the waves, was lovely.

My wife says that a shallow area for kids would be great.

The beachfront bungalows were worth it, and we enjoyed relaxing massages. The atmosphere here is perfect. Don't miss out on the beach BBQ dinners-delicious! Great location too, close to everything.

Only downside was figuring out the Thai toilet protocols-it took a minute to get used to but all good in the end.

Why it's almost great (but not quite)

The beachside bungalows deliver comfort, and staff's enthusiasm shines through, making every meal nice, especially the BBQ fish dinners!

The beach can feel a bit narrow at times, which may limit relaxing space for families or larger groups.

The location was super chill and the beach front bungalows were really comfy. Loved the relaxing vibe with the sound of waves all night. Staff were really friendly too. Great food at the restaurant, especially the fish dinner was amazin! The views from the bungalow were just perfect.

The breakfast sets were kinda underwhelming and not enough for a hungry lad. Internet was a bit sketchy at times.

The beach BBQ fish dinners were out of this world, and I loved chilling in my bungalow while listening to the waves. The available massages were so relaxing after a long day on the beach. I also enjoyed lounging on the sun terrace. If there's one thing to mention, it's that some dishes could be better priced, but it didn't affect my overall experience at all. 🏖️

charming beach access with nearby attractions for city strolls

It's just a short 10-minute walk to local eateries and shops that captured the essence of Koh Chang.

Liked every detail about my great 2 nights stay here. the room I was given was clean with AC and a fan. - the breakfast was savory and tasty with brilliant meals. - the location was marvelous - short walk to the beach, bars around, and Koh Chang.

The staff here is very attentive, the views are stunning as it's right on the beach, and the restaurant is fantastic with nice bathrooms and plenty of space.

We had a great 3-night stay at this place; the staff was incredibly friendly, the location was amazing, close to a beautiful beach and the center, and easily accessible by shared taxi.
